Style Tips

I really enjoy watching. Even when people speak to me I'm focused to what surrounds me: how is furnished the environment, what is wearing the person who is talking to me; I'm are always looking for a detail that can strike my attention. One detail that is not necessarily "beautiful", but that can distinguish a situation of "normality" in something "special."
Similarly there are special style tips that can make a difference: a red lipstick even if you are dressed in jeans, a hat even if you go out in a gym suit, a white shirt in cotton poplin that is absolute elegance and simplicity.

Day#7 Lanterns' light: Mètis

In the center of Seminyak there's s a corner of paradise: Mètis Bali Restaurant, a restaurant overlooking the green fields of rice paddies.
One of the most elegant and sophisticated places of the island that makes you experience all the five senses. After having watched the sunset and enjoyed the dinner, all dance until morning!

My look of the whole holiday? shorts, t-shirts and flat sandals! On this island, what makes you beautiful is the magnetism of nature.
But ... ther's short and shorts, t-shirts and t-shirts and sandals and sandals:

T-shirt (Valentino)

Simplicity is the most beautiful form of style, but also the most difficult!

Day#4 Mango and Papaya for a smooth skin

Every morning I start my day with energy. A fruit salad of Papaya and Mango, a long Indonesian coffee and a warm brioche with jam.
The only fruit plate for the colors that offers could be framed in a picture.
Isn't it beautiful? and also very healthy because I have found that these two fruits have great anti-aging properties and make the skin soft, as well as being very low of calories!

Day#3 Exotic tropical paradise: Bulgari Resort Bali

One of the most beautiful views of the Indian Ocean I've ever tested is in the Bukit peninsula, south Bali, where is located the Bulgari Hotel & Resort.
Located on a plateau 150 meters above sea level, is the perfect combination of natural tropical paradise and Balinese design. That 's where I ate the most delicious spicy fried shrimp of my life!

Dreams' seeker in Bali

If it's true that we are the result of our experiences, then Bali can only enter your soul and fill you of power.
Not the apparent power that we know in our cities in the West.
But deeper energy, mystical, shaped by the wilderness:
the spiritual energy, the lush greenery, rich colors, the smiles of the people, the love and reverence for the forces of the earth and the forest.
My journey has begun. My soul of dreamer is free!

Very stilish!

Venice, the romantic city!
Whenever I can, I do not think twice about going there because I love running around through the narrow streets, alternated with  channels with gondoliers with friendly smile; roads where time seems to have stopped and the cement of modernity do not appear to corrupt the beautiful buildings whose beauty lives at that antique flavor.
In my research I found "hat" and "cloak", the felt purple hat and   cape in typical Venetian style. Very stilish!

Beauty in Vogue Night

The first event of the "Beauty in Vogue Night" has been last night in Bologna that, for one night, was transformed into a stage where Beauty and Seduction have been leading actors on a Red Carpet. Red as the lipstick.
Red lipstick is a must have in every woman's beauty case: undisputed element of seduction and glamor never goes out of fashion.
Flashy, intense and challenging, red is the color of fire and blood, the vital impulses and action, is the symbol of heart and love.

The world through different lenses

Many times when we don't feel in a good mood we wear glasses: with dark lenses or mirrored, small and round or large square. There are many models, but the goal is one: to protect ourselves.
Through these lenses we can hide our deepest "I" expressed by our eyes.
It's called Kuboraum the new brand of glasses with which I fell in love.
Glasses-mask, spectacularly designed, they do see life as a game.

Love Botines!!!

Shoes have a magical power, they are fairy objects for all women.
It's wonderful to see how the heel transform the silhouette, making long legs beyond imagination and causing the unsteady gait that is so sensual!

Be positive!

Come?
9- Rischia
11- Viaggia in posti sconosciuti
15- Trasforma in realtà i tuoi sogni
16- Sii entusiasta della vita

We welcomed the new year with our list of goals.
But ... What we expect to achieve in the coming months?
Sometimes it seems that the more we stare in mind the goals to be achieved the more they move away, and so the enthusiasm and our energy.
I think that happiness is not a trophy to be won, but we can capture it in the little things.
How? Learning from children: loosing ourselves elsewhere,  not following too much the clock, discovering our curiosity ...
Here is the recipe for happiness of the Surfer, which I found written on a blackboard in a bar:
1 - You look fantastic
2 - Believe in yourself
3 - Follow your passions
4 - Find the courage
5 - Listen more than you talk
6 - Learn something new every single day
7 - Follow your dreams, but keep your feet on the ground
8 - Dance like nobody looked at you
9 - It risks
10 - When in doubt, be strong and do it even more
11 - Travel to unknown
12 - Support the growth and success of others
13 - Smile to strangers, laugh at yourself, do not always take seriously
14 - Be passionate about what you do
15 - Turn your dreams into reality
16 - Be enthusiastic about life

Looking for treasures at flea markets

Cappello (Borsalino)
Borsa (Givenchy)
Giacca (Comme des Garçons)

Hat (Borsalino)
Bag (Givenchy)
Jacket (Comme des Garçons)

"Style is the art of mixing, to put in value and aesthetically govern what one loves. As far as I'm concerned, I like to associate with the chic of the creators what I found at the flea market. The choice is our ultimate freedom. Wearing the clothes of certain designers is like changing our lives. '
(Interview by Yohji Yamamoto of Elle in 1992)
In these words the Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto expresses the essence of style: the style of dressing oneself is not in fact relying solely on high-end brand with the logo clearly visible, on the contrary, the style is the ability to combine an elegant dress of a famous couturier with a colorful scarf Moroccan or Indian found in a flea market, combining accessories from around the world, maybe vintage with a little 'history, batik prints and colors and a beautiful hat. The important thing is, on the whole, to be able to balance: not too garish clown type but not anonymous. Because in those combinations and in those particular pieces found at flea markets, we find our personality and express a bit 'of ourselves.

2013 Fashion, Music, Photography, Art...Creativity

Florence in the week that opens the door to Pitti Immagine Uomo 2013 combines the historical beauty to a new ferment.
Emotion, creativity and innovation are the imperatives of this fair of fashion and other creative disciplines such as photography, art, music and design.
Stunning the event Brini wait VS R-Evolution organized by the fashion brand Keyhole with Morgan in console who, after having been immortalized in a work of Polaroid mosaic according to the inimitable style of the photographer Maurizio Galimberti,  performed in a three-hour dJ set.
I Breathed creativity everywhere. It 'was a great night and a great example of how the ability to clear your mind of practice and repetition, intuition, curiosity, the urge to see things from a new angle, combined with motivation and commitment are able to determine the creativity that has made our country famous in the world.

Morgan's style: wite shirt with ruffles and black suit, red varnish on the nails, decadent very chic!

Back to the 60s

The legendary 60's of ski: the years of the Olympics in Cortina, the new technology of clothing that is more light and heat, the birth of the "duvet" the jacket goose down, the first synthetic materials that allow to make boots and skis lighter. These were years of great research, experimentation and victories. Gustav Thoeni, Peter Gros, Herbert Plank, Erwin Stricker, Radici and Paolo della Chiesa. Names that need no introduction ... We're  talking about a podium in every race, from Olympic (Sapporo, Innsbruck), to those of the world championship sant Moritz in the different editions of the World Cup won several times by our Thoeni and Gros.
Today we see in fashion a throwback to those glorious years, where the sport was an integral part of society. Jackets goose down lightweight and more and more technical, leggings and boots, thermal and elastic items become ideal for the city, now that seasonal changes are more radical, and a viable alternative for a casual but chic lifestyle.

Play with your mask!

When the curtain goes up you are immediately thrown into a dreams and retro world.
The circus is magic, makes you a children capable of dreaming and moves a bit from the structures of society to travel with the mind in a world of creativity.
... and the show I attended, Alegria by Cirque du Soleil is truly unique ...
Saltimbanco, acrobats from the best schools of circus from Russia to China, dwarves jumping here and there ... all dressed in suits of vibrant colors and maked up perfectly. It is fun to use clothing as a mask in real life isn't it?
Sometimes the atmosphere created around the mask becomes unreal, almost poetic. Takes place, at least for a moment, the fantastic possibilities that something can happen also those that social rules, the laws of physics in general, do not allow and do not accept.

Polaroid

The brand "Keyhole" has stroked me by its style, attention to details and ability to turn a t-shirt into a sophisticated garment to transmit to the wearer personality and uniqueness.
"Keyhole" is a witness of our times, of an epoch in which every moment of our social and intimate lifestyle becomes an occasion to show ourselves off,in which voyeurism is normal. And this voyeurism has been interpreted by the use of Polaroid, printed on organic cotton t-shirts with bias cut .
A Polaroid represents a unique and irrepeatable shot, not shaped by digital technology but only by means of a manual process to create an ‘exclusive’. The instant photos highlight a notable voyeurism that particulary accentuates beauty, the plastic strength and delicacy, the analysis of the forms and expression of the bodies that emerge from these special and unusual polaroid images elaborated by hand.
The idea of the error, the not perfection, but uniqueness that create the most beautiful form of art has always fascinated me.

Patchwork

Who said that the blue and white stripes are a typical navy fantasy only to use in summer?
The uniqueness of fashion is that is cyclical: sometimes  you find vintage items that are present-day. And it's nice to play. Also going against the canons of classicism. Expressing yourself.
The uniqueness and diversity create the style.

Pop furs

Fall-winter 2012 will be remembered as the season of furs.
On runways around the world marched furs.
The novelty is the color. The new face of furs proposes patchwork of levels multicolor , shock dyes, skin signs, yellow, red, blue and purple for a metropolitan woman.
Such as the one created by Hettabretz, Bologna-based company that since 1960 creates leather outerwear distributed in the finest boutiques in the world and demanded by celebrities such as Michael Douglas and Anthony Hopkins. A quality company that makes fashion an art.

Small sculptures of art: Cammeo Contemporaneo

In my research I discovered small pieces of jewelry really unique:
"Cameo Contemporaneo" is the name.
The essence of the collection is found in the words of the designer and creator Gio Zinghi: "At first I choose the photos, then the images, textures, gold leaf, silver or bronze. I put the  resin and look .... All that is trapped in the resin has a reaction: the gold leaf floats until it finds an obstacle, the wires move in unexpected dances."
In the collection: necklaces, earrings, bracelets .... with stones, images, embedded tissues. I could not fall in love.
I've always been fascinated by the material language: the breaking of the material, which creates small sculptures as the star, without haste, in a conceptual evolution that develops unique pieces as if the earth had an aesthetic value itself.
