Florence in the week that opens the door to Pitti Immagine Uomo 2013 combines the historical beauty to a new ferment.

  Emotion, creativity and innovation are the imperatives of this fair of fashion and other creative disciplines such as photography, art, music and design.

Stunning the event Brini wait VS R-Evolution organized by the fashion brand Keyhole with Morgan in console who, after having been immortalized in a work of Polaroid mosaic according to the inimitable style of the photographer Maurizio Galimberti,  performed in a three-hour dJ set.

I Breathed creativity everywhere. It 'was a great night and a great example of how the ability to clear your mind of practice and repetition, intuition, curiosity, the urge to see things from a new angle, combined with motivation and commitment are able to determine the creativity that has made ​​our country famous in the world.

Firenze nella settimana che apre le porte a Pitti Immagine Uomo 2013 unisce la bellezza storica a un nuovo fermento.

 Emozione, creatività, rinnovamento sono gli imperativi di questa fiera che vede come protagonista la moda, unita alle altre discipline creative come fotografia, arte, musica e design. 

Bellissimo l'evento fuorisalone Brini VS wait R-Evolution organizzato con il brand Keyhole che ha visto in console Morgan che, dopo essersi fatto immortalare in un'opera di foto Polaroid a mosaico secondo l'inimitabile stile del fotografo Maurizio Galimberti, si è esibito in tre ore di dj set. 

Si respirava creatività ovunque. E' stata una grande serata e un grande esempio di come la capacità di liberare la mente da consuetudine e ripetizione, l'intuito, la curiosità, la spinta a vedere le cose da una nuova angolazione, unita sempre a motivazione e impegno riescano a determinare quella creatività che ha reso il nostro Paese famoso nel mondo.

Back to the 60s

The legendary 60's of ski: the years of the Olympics in Cortina, the new technology of clothing that is more light and heat, the birth of the "duvet" the jacket goose down, the first synthetic materials that allow to make boots and skis lighter. These were years of great research, experimentation and victories. Gustav Thoeni, Peter Gros, Herbert Plank, Erwin Stricker, Radici and Paolo della Chiesa. Names that need no introduction ... We're  talking about a podium in every race, from Olympic (Sapporo, Innsbruck), to those of the world championship sant Moritz in the different editions of the World Cup won several times by our Thoeni and Gros.

Today we see in fashion a throwback to those glorious years, where the sport was an integral part of society. Jackets goose down lightweight and more and more technical, leggings and boots, thermal and elastic items become ideal for the city, now that seasonal changes are more radical, and a viable alternative for a casual but chic lifestyle.

I mitici anni 60 dello sci: gli anni delle Olimpiadi di Cortina, della nuova tecnologia dell'abbigliamento che si fa più leggero e termico, della nascita del "duvet" la giacca a vento in piuma d'oca, dei primi materiali sintetici che permettono di realizzare scarponi e sci più leggeri. Sono anni di grande ricerca, sperimentazione e vittorie. Gustav Thoeni, Pierino Gros, Herbert Plank, Erwin Stricker, Radici e Paolo de Chiesa. Nomi che non hanno bisogno di presentazione… Parliamo di un podio dietro l’altro in tutte le gare, da quelle olimpioniche (Sapporo, Insbruck), a quelle del campionato del mondo di sant Moritz alle diverse edizioni della coppa del mondo vinta più volte dai nostri Thoeni e Gros. 

Oggi vediamo nella moda un ritorno a quei gloriosi anni, dove lo sport era parte integrante della società. Giacche in piuma d'oca leggerissime e sempre più tecniche, fuseaux aderenti ed elasticizzati e scarponcini termici diventano ideali anche per la città, ora che i cambiamenti di stagione sono sempre più radicali, e una valida alternativa per un abbigliamento casual ma chic.

When the curtain goes up you are immediately thrown into a dreams and retro world.

The circus is magic, makes you a children capable of dreaming and moves a bit from the structures of society to travel with the mind in a world of creativity.

... and the show I attended, Alegria by Cirque du Soleil is truly unique ...

Saltimbanco, acrobats from the best schools of circus from Russia to China, dwarves jumping here and there ... all dressed in suits of vibrant colors and maked up perfectly. It is fun to use clothing as a mask in real life isn't it?

Sometimes the atmosphere created around the mask becomes unreal, almost poetic. Takes place, at least for a moment, the fantastic possibilities that something can happen also those that social rules, the laws of physics in general, do not allow and do not accept.

Quando si alza il sipario si è immediatamente catapultati in un mondo onirico e retrò. 

Il circo è magia, fa tornare bambini, fa sognare, allontana un po' dalle strutture della società per viaggiare con la mente in un mondo di creatività. 

...e lo spettacolo a cui ho assistito, Alegrìa del Cirque du Soleil è davvero unico...

Saltimbanco, acrobati snodati provenienti dalle migliori scuole circensi dalla Russia alla Cina, mangiafumo, nani che saltano di qua e di là ...tutti vestiti con tute dai colori più vivaci e truccati alla perfezione. Non è divertente usare gli abiti come maschera anche nella vita reale?

A volte l'atmosfera che si crea intorno alla maschera e al mascheramento diventa irreale, quasi poetica. Si realizza, almeno per un momento, la possibilità fantastica che possa accadere quello che la vita, le regole sociali, le leggi stesse della fisica in genere, non permettono e non accettano.

The brand "Keyhole" has stroked me by its style, attention to details and ability to turn a t-shirt into a sophisticated garment to transmit to the wearer personality and uniqueness.

"Keyhole" is a witness of our times, of an epoch in which every moment of our social and intimate lifestyle becomes an occasion to show ourselves off,in which voyeurism is normal.And this voyeurism has been interpreted by the use of Polaroid, printed on organic cotton t-shirts with bias cut .

A Polaroid represents a unique and irrepeatable shot, not shaped by digital technology but only by means of a manual process to create an ‘exclusive’. The instant photos highlight a notable voyeurism that particulary accentuates beauty, the plastic strength and delicacy, the analysis of the forms and expression of the bodies that emerge from these special and unusual polaroid images elaborated by hand.  

The idea of the error, the not perfection, but uniqueness that create the most beautiful form of art has always fascinated me.

Who said that the blue and white stripes are a typical navy fantasy only to use in summer?

The uniqueness of fashion is that is cyclical: sometimes  you find vintage items that are present-day. And it's nice to play. Also going against the canons of classicism. Expressing yourself.

Fall-winter 2012 will be remembered as the season of furs.

 On runways around the world marched furs.

L'autunno-inverno 2012 sarà ricordato come la stagione delle pellicce. Sulle passerelle di tutto il mondo hanno sfilato pellicce. La novità è il colore. Il nuovo volto della pellicceria propone patchwork di velli multicolor, tinture shock, pelli segnaletiche, gialle, rosse, blu e viola per una donna metropolitana. Come quella creata da Hettabretz, azienda bolognese che dal 1960 crea capispalla in pellame distribuiti nelle più belle boutiques del mondo e richiesti da celebrità come Michael Douglas e Anthony Hopkins. Un'azienda di qualità che fa della moda un'arte.

Small sculptures of art: Cammeo Contemporaneo

In my research I discovered small pieces of jewelry really unique: 

"Cameo Contemporaneo" is the name. 

The essence of the collection is found in the words of the designer and creator Gio Zinghi: "At first I choose the photos, then the images, textures, gold leaf, silver or bronze. I put the  resin and look .... All that is trapped in the resin has a reaction: the gold leaf floats until it finds an obstacle, the wires move in unexpected dances." 

In the collection: necklaces, earrings, bracelets .... with stones, images, embedded tissues. I could not fall in love. 

I've always been fascinated by the material language: the breaking of the material, which creates small sculptures as the star, without haste, in a conceptual evolution that develops unique pieces as if the earth had an aesthetic value itself.

Nella mia ricerca di gioielli particolari ho scoperto dei bijoux davvero unici: 

"Cammeo Contemporaneo"è il nome. 

L'essenza della collezione si trova nelle parole della designer e ideatrice Giò Zinghi: "Prima scelgo le foto, poi i tessuti, le reti, rimodello le immagini, inserisco fili, trame, foglia d'oro, argento o bronzo. Colo la resina e attendo....Tutto ciò che è intrappolato nella resina ha una reazione propria: la foglia d'oro fluttua finchè non trova un ostacolo, i fili si spostano in danze inaspettate." Nella collezione: collane, orecchini, bracciali....con pietre, immagini, tessuti inglobati.

Non potevo non innamorarmene. 

Sono sempre stata affascinata dal linguaggio materico: la rottura della materia, che crea come protagonista piccole sculture, senza fretta, in una evoluzione concettuale che sviluppa pezzi unici come se la terra avesse una valenza estetica in sé.
